This mod adds two rival Origins related to the Sculk Horde: the Pure One and the Infester, as well as stages/evolutions for each. The Pure One must defeat the Sculk Horde, while the Infester will join and spread it.

Origin powers and descriptions:
Pure One
The Pure One is very strong against the Sculk Horde, capable of purifying large areas of infection quickly, especially in the later stages of the Horde. Without the Horde, it is no stronger than a human. While the Horde is active, The Pure One cannot sleep, and it has difficulty traveling far from the center of the overworld or entering other dimensions. The Pure One must manage its Purity carefully - running out can prove life-threatening.

Description:
"You are a guardian of Purity. Your sole purpose is to defeat the Sculk Horde and cleanse the world. Even with all of the Powers of Purity, this task will take everything you have, and more."

"You slowly absorb Purity from around you and from the Sun, golden foods, golden armor, and from holding certain Pure items. It can be seen through your Purity Meter."

"You are made of Purity. Using up too much Purity can cause you to be exhausted and weak, to the point of withering away."

"You can fire a beam of focused Purity to deal damage and purify a small area. This ability is blocked when wearing a non-golden helmet."
🟢Cleansing Flames 🔵Ability - Secondary 🔴Armor Condition
"You can infuse Purity into everything around you to deal unblockable damage and purify a large area. This ability is blocked when wearing a non-golden chestplate."
🟡Trail of Purity 🟡 Armor Condition
"Walking on infested ground will drain your Purity meter, but may purify the ground. Wearing non-golden boots will prevent this."
🟢Pure
"The Purity which radiates from you makes you and those around you resistant to most of the Horde's diseases."
🟢Pure Touch
"The extreme levels of purity in your punches will give anything you touch purity and each punch has a chance to burn servants of the Horde."

"Peace and Comfort radiate from Purity, allowing you to tame animals without using items."
🟢Gift of Purity
"You can make creatures permanently immune to the Horde's diseases by right-clicking them with an Essence of Purity."
🔴Drawn
"The Horde is at the center of the Overworld. The further you get from it, the more Purity you lose, as the Purity within you is pulled towards its purpose."
🔴One Purpose
"If the Horde never rests, neither will you. As long as the Horde lives, you will not sleep. You must defeat the Horde."
🟡Will of Purity
"Your strength depends on the threat on Purity. Less danger means less strength. More danger means more strength. Purity is more willing to strengthen you if there is danger. You are also more likely to die."

Infester
The Infester is a servant of the Sculk Horde. It is weak before the Horde awakens, and its flesh of sculk is frail. The Infester is strengthened and quickened when near the infested lands of the Horde, but in order to survive, it must go outside the Horde's influence to gather food, craft, and mine. Where it travels, the Horde is quick to follow.

Tip: Just like with other creatures created by the Horde, Wardens are still hostile, and will be the main threat in the early-game.

"Killing non-sculk mobs feeds you."
🟢Sculk Mining
"You can break infested blocks without diamond tools, and sculk will occasionally drop as a block."
🟢Sculk Sense
"When you stand near a sculk sensor, the Horde will be able to show you any mobs it can sense. Non-sculk mobs near sculk will glow yellow, while all sculk mobs will glow blue."
🟢Touch of Infection
"Every living thing you touch has a chance to become corroded."
🟢Sculk Boost
"You can move much faster on infected blocks."
🟢Immunity of the Horde
"You cannot be harmed by the Horde's effects."
🔴Fungal Weakness
"Your flesh of sculk is soft and easily damaged, causing melee and projectile attacks to deal extra damage to you."
🔴Soul Tax
"The Horde will absorb any experience you collect while near sculk."
🔴Painful Purity
"Purity eats away at your sculk-infused flesh, causing burning and withering."

"Infestation Purifiers burn you and give you slowness, poison, and weakness."

I also recommend checking out the Sculk Commander Origin by piggydragons. The Sculk Commander is the official Origin of the Sculk Horde, approved by the creator.
(How well do the Infester and Sculk Commander work together? Is the Pure One or the Sculk Commander more powerful? I haven't had a chance to find out. Let me know!)
