General

Adds unique useful pets to your game. Currently it only adds banana ducks and doesn't even add all of the features they'll have (armor and leveling are missing). The plan is for this to become a very gameplay oriented pet mod. See "Bedrock Edition" below for more details.

Bedrock Edition

This will basically be a Java port of my Bedrock add-on called Billey's Mobs but only the mobs from it that have both a good model and a good use. By the way, Bedrock custom entities are actually great so this will mostly be an 1-1 port aside from this having custom keybinds, custom UI and certain mechanics being slightly better.

Also unlike the Bedrock version, leveling pets in this one will be unlimited instead of up to level 10 but I'll make sure the XP requirements increase accordingly.

Fun fact: Billey's Mobs is the oldest ongoing Bedrock add-on

Banana Duck

• 10 HP / 5 hearts health
• Fall slowly and immune to fall damage
• Spawn in jungles
• Tamed, bred and healed with bread
• Since duck armor hasn't yet been added there's no way to make banana ducks defend you, and thus leveling isn't a thing yet
• Feeding it an apple gives you a poultry banana.
  • Eating it gives you a random vanilla beneficial effect and a banana peel
  • Every 5 poultry bananas a banana duck makes it removes 1 level from you
  • The banana peel can be placed down as a deadly trap(slightly more that 10 hp damage I forgot how much exactly). Everything can slip on it other than tamed mobs from any mod and sneaking players
• You can make it wander the same way you make a vanilla mob sit/stand, right clicking the banana duck makes it switch between 3 movement modes, follow, wander and sit.
• Double-sneaking forces all following Practical Pets pets(currently just banana ducks) to teleport to you. Vanilla teleportation also is still a thing.

To do next:

1. Armor, leveling, and bowties for the pets of the mod
2. Not being able to hurt your own pet
3. Add ducks, rats, mercats(with a better use than the bedrock version's), netherrats and more
