Spoiler
As of right now, there are two methods of becoming a samurai ranger: **#1: Forge & Fabric** Witches and Illagers have recently stumbled across an odd substance called Morph X, and plan to study it to better understand its true power. Little do they know that what they actually hold is a substance that connects to the expansive Morphing Grid, and defeating these enemies will allow you to take back the Morph X. You can then use this substance to craft an unpowered samuraizer, and program it to become one of the five samurai rangers. **#2: Forge Only ~~(Due to issues with ore generation in Fabric)~~** An unknown substance has been making the rounds in the minds: Morphium. By mining this ore, you can take it apart to make Morph X, which can be used to craft a unpowered samuraizer as mentioned abovePowers:

To transform into a samurai ranger, take your designated samuraizer and put it in your offhand slot. A menu will the pop up that will let you transform at the press of a button (literally!). As a samurai ranger, you have access to several different abilities: - **Physical Buffs:** You can run faster, jump higher, have more resistance against attacks, and heal naturally - **New Weapons:** You gain access to your Spin Sword, a quick weapon with decent damage to boot, along with your ranger's special disk. Use this disk to unlock special abilities! - **Powered-Up Mode:** By pressing the designated key while you have your special disk in your main hand, you will enter a boosted state for about ten seconds. In this state, your Spin Sword will be charged and can do more damage. But be careful! After the ten-second period is up, you will find yourself in a weakened state for a short amount of time from the use of symbol power. - **Special Weapon:** While in your powered-up mode, you can switch between your charged sword and your ranger's special weapon on the fly - **Energy Blast:** While in your powered-up mode, if you left-click while crouching with your charged sword in hand, you will unleash a strong energy blast to devastate your enemies. However, doing so will instantly end your powered-up state and you will be slightly more weakened than usual from the use of symbol power. - **Special Attack:** A move that is unique to each of the rangers. This can be activated when the ranger is either using their special weapon or charged sword.Ranger-Specific Abilities:
Spoiler
Though each ranger has the same base gameplay, their special abilities can completely change the way you approach challenges in the Minecraft world. Experiment with all of them to find out which suits your playstyle. - **Jayden: Samurai Red** - Playstyle: Glass Cannon - Jayden has some of the strongest attacks out of all the rangers, but at the cost of his stronger moves leaving him vulnerable for extended periods of time. You'll have to play smart with your movements to maximize his potential - Weapon: Fire Smasher - When this thing hits, it hits _HARD_! Don't be surprised to see the poor animals going down in one hit from this hefty weapon. However, it has a very slow attack speed, and having it in your hand will slow you down considerably - Special Attack: Cannon Blast Mode - Lock your Fire Smasher into cannon blast mode to unleash a final strike that is sure to destroy your enemies. Don't get too hasty, though. This attack takes a while to charge up, and you can't move or jump while it's charging. Once it's finally done, you'll be stuck with debuffs and locked out of your powered-up mode for a full minute afterwards! Try to use it like an actual final move like they do in the show, alright? - **Mia: Samurai Pink** - Playstyle: Zoner - All of Mia's special attacks are either projectiles or AOEs, and they all knock enemies back a fair bit, so you can naturally gain a lot of leverage and control of the space while playing with her. Do be warned that enemies who aren't normally affected by knockback behave no differently with Mia's moves, and so she may struggle with beefier opponents. - Weapon: Sky Fan - Right-click to shoot out a small blast of air that does decent damage and knocks the opponent back. Perfect for keep away shenanigans or to give you some space to retreat. - Special Attack: Wave of Air - Launch an AOE attack that hits all enemies in the vicinity while pushing them back. As Mia says, "Buzz Off!" - **Mike: Samurai Green** - Playstyle: Rushdown - Hit 'em hard and hit 'em fast! If you agree with that philosophy, you and Mike will probably be very good friends! His special moves are great for getting up close and personal with enemies while dealing some quick and easy damage, though he lacks any ranged attacks besides his energy blast move to counterbalance this. - Weapon: Forest Spear - A weapon with serviceable damage and very fast attack speed for near instant repeated hits. You also get a nice speed boost whenever you're holding this in your hand. What's not to like? - Special Attack: Evasive Thrust - You jump backwards for a bit before speeding forwards in a blinding thrust, attacking anything in your way. This move can be cancelled if you let go of your spear before your dive, leaving just the backwards leap. - **Kevin: Samurai Blue** - Playstyle: Support - As the only character with an actual support move, Kevin can fill in a very useful nice both in solo and multiplayer play, and is a great ranger for taking care of tanky or incredibly hard hitting enemies. However, his other special moves are fairly weak projectiles that leave him with below average offensive capabilities outside of the base moveset that all the rangers share. - Weapon: Hydro Bow - Right-click to shoot an arrow of pure energy at your opponents for low damage. - Special Attack: Swordfish Disk - Use the healing properties of the Swordfish Disk to clear any negative status effects (except Wither) and grant a some positive buffs like healing, resistance, and more! This ability also affects nearby players, making it an exceptional move for supporting groups. - **Emily: Samurai Yellow** - Playstyle: Jack of All Trades - This may be ironic, considering her placement on this list, but Emily is probably the ranger I would recommend most to anyone playing the mod for the first time. She has a pretty diverse moveset that gives her lots of flexibility in combat and makes her arguably the easiest to learn (she's also my favorite ranger in both the show and the mod, tehee). At the same time though, there's isn't really anything Emily does that other rangers don't do better. She's the "master of none" as they say. - Weapon: Earth Slicer - Right-click to throw your Earth Slicer for some good damage. - Special Attack: Primate Cyclone - Press the designated key with your charged sword in hand to blaze through the terrain and damage anyone in your path. Not only does good damage, but gives you some good movement options as well!Credits:
