Welcome to ColonyPathingEdition, a mod designed to improve both pathfinding and work efficiency for citizens in MineColonies. It allows you to guide villager routes simply by planning your city layout, and enables citizens to handle unexpected situations more intelligently.


寻路系统增强 / Pathfinding Enhancements

  • 基建优先导航 / Infrastructure-First Navigation

居民现在会在距离目标较远时几乎完全沿路径方块行走,并且降低了对 y 轴的依赖,这意味着你能够更方便地建设出一个更大的、依托复杂地形的城市。值得注意的是,如果你的城市过于立体,请确保每一层之间的联通性,否则可能会错过合适的楼梯。
Citizens will now follow path blocks almost exclusively when far from their target and rely less on vertical (Y-axis) movement. This makes it easier to build a larger city over complex terrain. Note: if your settlement is very multi-layered, be sure each level is connected—otherwise villagers might miss staircases and take illogical routes.

  • 铁路系统优化 / Rail System Optimization

居民现在会识别未充能的铁轨和错误连接的铁轨,并将探测铁轨标记为“车站方块”以指导村民尽量在此处下车,同时修复铁路上频繁下车的 bug。现在为城市居民规划一条地铁线路以提高通勤效率是一个不错的选择。
Villagers now detect unpowered tracks and invalid rail connections, marking detector rails as “station blocks” to encourage them to disembark there. This also fixes the bug where they frequently exit minecarts on rails. Planning a subway network for your citizens is now an excellent way to improve commute efficiency.

  • 近距离绕路优化 / Short-Range Detour Optimization

市民现在可以绕过一些原本无法绕过的建筑找到正门,在路径方块的辅助下可能能绕过更远的距离。
Citizens can now bypass certain buildings that were previously impassable to find the proper entrance, and with help from path blocks they can navigate around obstacles at greater distance.

  • Bug 修复 / Bug Fixes
  1. 恢复了村民的短距离传送能力,这意味着你不需要担心奇怪的路径将村民卡住。 Restores villagers’ short-distance teleport ability, so you no longer need to worry about odd path blocks trapping them.
  2. 修改了节点关系和梯子的攀爬策略,会减少一部分奇怪的摔落事故和攀爬梯子的稳定性。
    Adjusts node relationships and ladder-climbing logic to reduce strange fall incidents and improve stability when climbing ladders.
  • 更灵活的设置 / More Flexible Configuration

开放了一系列可修改内容,包括各种方块的寻路成本、最大寻路距离、反向寻路预测值修改等。
A wide range of settings are now configurable, including block path-cost values, maximum pathfinding distance, and reverse-path prediction adjustments.


AI 流程改进 / AI Process Improvements

  • 改进餐厅逻辑 / Improved Dining Logic

村民将会以如下优先顺序取食:

  1. 自己身上
  2. 若距离自己工作岗位更近(chef 不会判断远近),如果历史食物满足多样性要求,去工作岗位方块内
  3. 餐厅(chef 和 cook 将直接取食,不会等待)
  4. 若餐厅无食物,返回工作岗位查看,此时进食无视多样性要求
  5. 若工位也没有食物,返回餐厅等待

Citizens will now retrieve food in the following priority:

  1. From their own inventory
  2. From their workstation if it is closer (chefs ignore distance), provided their food history meets variety requirements
  3. From the restaurant itself (chefs and cooks will eat immediately without waiting)
  4. If the restaurant is out of food, return to the workstation to check—at this point they ignore variety requirements and eat whatever is available
  5. If the workstation also lacks food, return to the restaurant and wait for new supplies
  • 一些其他设定的修改 / Other Settings Adjustments
  1. 村民如果被一些任务阻断导致无法工作,会去市政厅等待你分发物资。
    If a villager is blocked by certain tasks and cannot work, they will go to the Town Hall to wait for you to distribute resources.
  2. 养殖小屋成体动物留存下限增加,同时屠宰间隔下降,config 中还有更激进的修改,默认为 false。
    Raises the minimum adult-animal population in the Ranch Hut and lowers the slaughter interval. More aggressive settings are available in config (default: false).
  3. 现在农田支持 Farmer's Delight 的水稻的种植和收获,不过需要玩家自行建造水田。
    Farms now support planting and harvesting rice from Farmer's Delight, but players must build rice paddies manually.
  4. 现在无论一棵树需要多少树苗,林务员都会选择在树苗足够时一次性补种。
    Foresters will now replant entire trees at once as soon as there are enough saplings, no matter how many are needed.
  5. 红树树苗补种时不会再出现位置偏移。
    Mangrove saplings will now replant without positional offset errors.
  6. 快递员一次接受任务的能力提升。
    Deliverymen can now accept more tasks at once in a single go.

⚠️ 注意 / Notice

  • 存在的 Bug / Bugs That Exist
  1. 有一些涉及 y 轴移动的路径可能被错误阻断。
    Certain paths involving vertical movement may still be incorrectly blocked.
  2. 在和 Minecolonies Tweaks 同时安装时,可能引起南瓜和西瓜田无法耕地。
    When installed alongside Minecolonies Tweaks, pumpkins and melons might not be farmable.
  • Alpha 阶段功能 / Alpha-Stage Features

目前的寻路改进可能暂未覆盖所有极端情况。如发现奇怪的路径行为,请在我们的 GitHub 问题页面报告。
Pathfinding improvements may not yet cover every edge case. If you notice odd routing behavior, please report it on our GitHub issues page.
