A Minecraft Mod that enables the player, through a series of progressions, to obtain a form of creative mode. Very loosely inspired by the anime Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Also note that the effects this mod uses can be rather flashy.
NOTE
This mod is very new and fairly untested. This mod has been briefly tested in multiplayer and there are still some things that still need to be properly implemented. Expect to encounter bugs. However, the mod is in a fairly playable state where it stands. No known incompatibilities yet.
PROGRESSION
This section is here for now, as there's no way to learn the progression just yet in the mod itself.
Making the Homunculus
The Homunculus is a key item that initiates the mod's main progression.
To obtain the Homunculus you need to:
- Brew a Bottle of Blood. This is done by brewing a Mundane Potion with a Rotten Flesh.
- Next you brew Mysterious Fluid. This is done by brewing the Bottle of Blood with an Echo Shard.
- Next you make Black Fluid. This is done by brewing the Mysterious Fluid with a Wither Skeleton Skull.
- Once you have Black Fluid, just brew that with an Eye of Ender and you'll have the Homunculus.
Obtaining the Philosopher's Stone
Upon using the Homunculus, you'll be greeted with a new HUD. On top you have your soul bar, and on the bottom you have your ability indicator. In order to fill up the bar, you must collect the souls of villagers. This is done through the Mass Accumulate ability(Z by default). Every 56 villagers that you kill, one portion of the bar will light up. Your objective is to kill 999 villagers.
Mass Accumulation is the only way to collect souls. To make this mod harder, it's also expensive and costs 1 Nether Star to use. When used, every villager within a 300 block radius will die. Even if they run away. If you're smart, you'd find a way to farm the villagers so you don't have to kill so many withers.
Upon filling up your bar, you can manifest the Philosopher's Stone by pressing M(default keybind.)
Using the Philosopher's Stone makes you divine. Divinity gives you access to the creative menu and makes you almost impossible to kill. With this also comes some powerful abilities(more to come). Note if you do die somehow, you lose your divinity(Again almost impossible).
INTEGRITY SYSTEM
Wielding omnipotence comes with a toll. Once you bind the stone to your heart, you will constantly be slowly decayed. Every 18~ minutes, you will lose one integrity heart. This isn't the worst thing, and won't have major consequences until you reach 0 integrity, marked by no hearts in divine mode. In this state, sustaining any damage will kill you. So remember to keep an eye on that.
Luckily, you're equipped with a move that restores integrity. (B) by default, this move sucks the life out of every villager and player in a 40 block radius.
Keybinds/Abilities
- Mass Accumulation(Z) - Kills every villager in a 300 block range
- Manifest Philosopher Stone(M) - Manifests the Philosopher's and uses up 999 souls.
- Red Pierce(R) - Shoots a red attack similar to the Warden's sonic boom but more powerful.
- Summon Evoker Fangs(G) - Summons evoker fangs on every mob in a 20 block range, again more powerful.
- Soul Suck Ability(B) - Drains the soul of every player/villager in a 40 block range, also restored Philosopher's Stone integrity.
DIVINE PERSON CAUSING TROUBLE? OR TIRED OF BEING OMNIPOTENT?
It's your lucky day. Introducing the new Mortality Potion!
This potion instantly drops a divine player's integrity to 0!
So how do you make it?
It's easy, just like brewing a homunculus except you stop at the Black Fluid step. This time around, instead of using an Eye of Ender, try a Totem of Undying.
Naturally, this can be put into all sorts of forms of potions, such as lingering, splash, arrows, etc etc etc.
Have fun!
Commands
These are mostly for debug purposes.
- /divinecheck - checks if the person who executed the command is divine.
- /gamemode divine - bypasses the need to obtain a philsopher's stone and grants divinity.
