Requires Origins, Fabric Loader and Fabric API in order to function.
This mod adds 7 new origins, which represent elements such as: Pyro (Fire), Hydro (Water), Cryo (Ice), Electro (Electricity), Dendro (Nature), Anemo (Wind) and Geo (Earth). The idea is heavily inspired by a game named Genshin Impact (also partially by Overwatch), the names of the elements themselves and some skills ideas are taken from there. Other than that, they're not related.
The mod is still in development and there are some known minor issues, note that the Cryo (Ice) element is the only one that almost doesn't have any abilities yet. Other than that, every other element is fully playable. It can be pretty fun to PvP with friends or just to play in survival, although sometimes it can be somewhat inconvenient to fight side-by-side. You can define which element the player has by looking at the particles around them, since every element has its unique particles surrounding the player. I will be motivated to further develop the mod if it gets some attention.
To use abilities, open your controls settings, scroll down and bind/rebind the "Active power (Primary)" and "Active power (Secondary)" keys. I rebound mine like this: Primary ability - E, Secondary ability - Q, Inventory - F, Swap Item - G, Drop Item - R. You might need to get used to it, but overall it's super convenient when you need to use your abilities often.
Take in mind that the mod removes the default origins and origins from other mods from the selection menu, because it's supposed to be balanced and played this way. However, if you want to use it with other origins, there is another version marked as "Doesn't disable other origins", which doesn't remove anything. Nevertheless, note that these origins aren't supposed to be balanced with the default ones, so they will most likely be superior.
Some abilities may seem to be slightly overpowered, but that's the point — it's fun. Each element has its advantages and disadvantages. To give an example, here is a description of what Pyro is capable of (outdated):
