Echoing Tools

This is a sculk-themed Fabricmc mod which adds new items, equipment an armor set and status effects.

Abilities

Sculk-Infused Netherite Armor - This armor set is an upgraded version of netherite armor. It has higher enchantability, durability and grants half a heart per equipped piece, but armor trims can not be applied to it.

Sculk-Infused Netherite Tools - Each tool has a custom ability:

• Sword - when an entity is damaged by the sword (doesn't have to be the same sword or the same mob hitting it) it takes bonus damage. The sword can also be enchanted with an enchantment called Spread that makes it so instead of applying bonus damage on the fourth hit, a status effect called sculkiness is applied to the entity on the seventh hit.
• Pickaxe - when a player right-clicks on this item, the status effect Haste is applied to that player for a short period.
• Shovel - when a player uses this item, a 30 seconds timer starts that counts how many blocks you break and gives you a short burst of speed based on how many blocks you mined after the timer is over.
• Hoe - when you right-click on either stone, diorite, granite, andesite or deepslate, it turns them into sculk and does a bit of durability damage.
• Axe - when a player uses this item, a status effect called Fury-Surge is applied to the player, lowering their maximum health by 25% but increases their damage by 3.

Items

• Warden tear - when a player has this item equipped, they are competly immune to the darkness effect.
• Sculk Arrow - works like the vanilla minecraft arrow, but deals extra damage.
• Hollow Sculk Smithing Template - can be found in ancient cities and is used to craft the Sculk Smithing Template
• Sculk Smithing Template - can be used to infuse netherite tools with sculk in the smithing table.
• Upgrade Template Core - can be used to duplicate the Sculk Smithing Template
• Echoing Ingot - Used for crafting recipes

Status Effects

• Sculkiness - reduces healing by 2/3 and deals damage to non player entities (also has custom hearts for when the effect is active).
• Stealth - when this effect is active, sculk sensors won't be able to detect you.
• Fury Surge - reduces hp by 25% but increases damage by 3 (same amount as strength 1). Can be stacked with strength.

Recipes

• Tools, Armor and Weapons - can be crafted in the smithing table using an echoing ingot and a sculk smithing template.
• Echoing Ingot - can be crafted with 9 echo shards in a crafting table
• Sculk Arrow - can be crafted in a crafting table with flint, deepslate and a sculk catalyst
• Sculk Smithing Template - can be crafted in a crafting table in this shape:

  • sculk catalyst, diamond, sculk catalyst
• Duplicate Sculk Smithing Template - can be crafted like this:

• Upgrade Template Core - obtained by smelting a netherite upgrade in a blast furnace
• Darkness Potion - can be obtained by brewing a night vision potion and an ancient mushroom
• Stealth Potion - can be obtained by brewing an invisibility potion and an ancient mushroom

Blocks

• Ancient Mushroom - the ancient mushroom is a block which can be found in the deep dark biome. It can be used to make stealth and darkness potions

Translations

Currently, the only translations available are for English and Hebrew
