Dynamic Difficulty
Dynamic Difficulty is a NeoForge 1.21.1 port/rewrite of the Auto Leveling mod by Daripher, designed to fix the problem in many modpacks where player strength greatly outpaces mob strength, and gameplay quickly becomes uninteresting due to every fight being far too easy.
Dynamic Difficulty tries to strike a perfect balance between innate mob strength (factors like dimensions, or levels for a specific entity type, like Level 20 Dragons, or a Level 100 Ignis), and player-based progression (like scaling mobs based on items or a skill tree)
Everything is configurable!
Currently Implemented:
- Configurable Scaling factors for which attributes are modified per level
- Configurable generic distance/deepness-based scaling, which gets overridden by dimension and entity scaling.
- Dimension-based leveling via datapacks
- Entity-Specific leveling and scaling, via datapacks

- Items/Consumables to level up tamed pets
- Player-based Scaling: Integration with skill tree mods, quest triggers, and gear mods such as Apotheosis, to dynamically influence mob difficulty. Will be configurable. Stay tuned!
