Welcome to Deeper Depths! This mod currently backports the trial chambers and all of it's functions, blocks, and utilities properly to 1.12.2. Fight the breeze as it jumps around the chambers and activates traps! Go gambling with the trial keys and vaults. This mod also includes several configuration options and overall brings slight improvement from the base trial chambers.
Features in depth
Blocks
- Trial Spawners: Can be configured to spawn modded mobs, these spawners spawn mobs periodically and dispense an item when completed.
- Vaults and Ominous Vaults: When given a key it'll dispense loot selected from the loot table!
- Trial Pot: pots that spawn throughout the chambers and can be broken to get loot and used to store items in.
- Heavy Core: Used to create the mace and gained from ominous vaults
- Copper Ore: Generated throughout the world.
- Copper Blocks and Variants: Also has oxidation mechanic, with copper degrading over time unless it is waxed.
- Waxed Copper Blocks and Variants: Use slimeballs to create Waxed copper, copper that doesn't oxidize.

- Budding Amethysts: Over time grows Amethyst Clusters.

Items
- Ominous Bottles: Used to turn trial spawners into ominous spawners.
- Trial and Ominous Keys: gained from spawners and used on vaults
- Wind Charge: NBT configurable for the burst power of the wind charge, activates redstone on impact.
- Mace: The new melee weapon that deals more damage based on height fallen from
- Trial Chambers Painting: A painting found rarely in the chambers, art done by Foreck!
- Enchantment - Wind Burst: Creates a powerful knockback when doing a successful smash attack with the mace.
- Enchantment - Density: Gives an additional 0.5 damage for each block fallen using the mace.
- Enchantment - Breach: Reduces the armor effectiveness of entities when hit with the mace.
- Potion of Oozing: Causes slimes to spawn upon an entities death.
- Potion of Infested: Chance of silverfish to spawn upon an entity taking damage.
- Potion of Weaving: Causes cobwebs to spawn upon an entities death.
- Potion of Wind Charged: Causes wind charges to spawn upon an entities death.

Entities
- Bogged: A new skeleton variant that shoots poison arrows, can be found in the Trial Chambers or the swamps. There mushroom can be sheared off.
- Breeze: A mob exclusive to the chambers, relative to the blaze except this one shoots wind charges that knockback players and activates redstone contraptions.
Structures & World Generation
- Amethysts Geodes: Spawns throughout the overworld in various sizes and variants
- Copper Ore
- Deepslate and Tuff: Patches throughout low y-levels of 25 and below, by default this is false in the config!
- Trial Chambers: The biggest feature that ties everything together, you can locate the Trial Chambers via looking for a windmill like structure on the surface made up of copper. Breaking the Oxidized entrance will lead to the entrance of the Trial Chambers. These chambers have there own unique rooms, randomization, and unique every single time. They also have the chance of generating encounters, which are like smaller chambers. Additionally, these chambers are better than vanilla in the amount of chambers generating. You'll usually get 3-7 chambers per trial chambers while vanilla can range from 1-5. There are also custom rooms not found in vanilla that fit well with the theme!

FAQ
Q: Are there any upcoming updates or additions?
A: As of currently we have plans for also bringing the Ancient Cities to 1.12.2, and we might look into adding our own twists onto structures, whether it be items, blocks, entities just to further make the current content more in depth and individual from vanilla.
Q: Will this be ported to future versions?
A: No.
