Prototype Omnitrix

To craft the Prototype Omnitrix, first locate a crashed alien ship. Inside you will find a Prototype Omnitrix Core of a random color.

Next, you will need to find an abundance of three material types: Titanium, Galvan Scrap, and Omni Crystals. Titanium is a rare ore added by Palladium, which spawns directly underneath Heart-Shaped-Herb Flowers that spawn above ground. All of these materials can be found in all structures added by Alien Evo. More specifically, inside of Galvan Pods in pod crash sites, alien ship crash sites, Machine Blast Chambers, and Machine Strongholds.

Omni Crystals of varying colors can be obtained by trading with the Galvan Scientist, a villager who uses the Omnitrix Workbench as its job site block.

The full Prototype Omnitrix also has a very small chance of spawning inside a crashed Galvan Pod.

Customization

Omnitrix Workbench

Using Omni Crystals obtained from structures and villager trading, the player can change the color of 9 different parts of their Omnitrix. First, decouple the watch and place it on the arm of the Omnitrix Workbench. Then you can insert an Omni Crystal of any color into one of 9 the slots, each corresponding to a different part of the Omnitrix's shell. These slots also accept materials, too, such as Amethyst, Copper, Diamond, Emerald, Gold, Iron, Lapis, Netherite, Quartz, and Redstone.

The Omnitrix also has 3 module slots: Glow, Primary, and Secondary, which accept Color Modules of any kind.

Glow Color corresponds to the glowing colors on your Omnitrix, as well as the color of your alien's eyes.

Primary Color corresponds to the black of the uniforms on your aliens.

Secondary Color corresponds to the white of the uniforms on your aliens.

Codes

Some Omnitrix functions can be unlocked directly through the Omnitrix's skill tree. There are two functions that cannot: Self Destruct and Master Control. These must be unlocked by entering a 6 digit code into your Omnitrix from its settings menu. These codes are randomly generated for each watch, so it is up to the player to discover them. However, hints are available in the form of Code Tablets.

Code Tablets provide the player with a single digit of a code, corresponding to the dungeon they are discovered in. Every dungeon holds a single Code Tablet, but is guarded by the remnants of an Ancient Machine Civilization.

Machine Blast Chamber

Look for a Machine Tower and dig beneath it to discover the Machine Blast Chamber - a small room filled with explosives, technology, and a single Self Destruct Code Tablet.

Machine Stronghold

Look for a Machine Well and dig beneath it to discover the Machine Stronghold - a massive, multi-room dungeon filled with Machine Soldiers, Scouts, and Ravagers defending their home.  Somewhere inside is a Master Control Code Tablet.

For those searching for a strong weapon, look out for any Machine Soldiers wielding an Ancient Staff. Like Drowned and their Tridents, the Ancient Staff has a small chance of dropping from these mobs. With it, right click to fire a powerful laser blast.

Watch Features

  • Leveling and progression! Killing mobs grants you alien-specific experience. Every level-up earns you an alien-specific skill point, which can be used to unlock new abilities in the power menu. Once you unlock all abilities for an alien, you are awarded 1 skill point towards your Omnitrix, which can be used to unlock watch functions.
  • Core Swapping! With Core Removal unlocked, you can trade cores with other players and install them into your own Omnitrix. Cores hold important data like stored modules, entered codes, and unlocked aliens. Alien & Omnitrix levels are considered player knowledge, and therefore do not transfer with cores.
