The Gnome
He breaks the silence (occasionally).
The Gnome dwells below the surface level (obviously). You can befriend him and use as a decoration element (almost like Terraria's gnomes). He likes rocks, any stone tool material will do. When tamed you can order to sit and stand still. While sitting or standing the Gnome is unpushable and won't make any moves or animations, almost like a statue. However he will break the silence occasionally. He is afraid of sticks and will panic when sees one. Sometimes he teleports around like enderman with a mischievous laughter. Random teleportation and intervals of ambient sounds are configurable.
