If Fungal Infection spore is not difficult enough for you, you might want to try this
it adds extra mechanics and debuffs to the game that are devastating on its own.
Adds panicking effect
just enjoy your Fear effect from parasites but far worse.
Swarmed: this will make you take a lot of attacks in beetween your invulnerability effects. Stacks per level
Vulnerability: Some damage will ignore all reduction and will be dealt as pure. Stacks per level
Incubator: Deals 25% of your max health as damage that ignores iframes if it reaches level 10, spawns a mound and a scent close to you. Deals damage for each level above 10. Stacks. Griefer explosion stack 5 levels at once.
Evolved mobs will break more blocks up to wood materiales. so you better use cobblestone or stone if you want to protect you.
Adaptation mechanics to potion effects. Hyper Evolved and Calamities are inmune to potion effects after getting them once and get damage reduction per adaptation that can only be mitigated by fire.
Rework Mycelium Infection to be far more of a danger to mobs, now it will always be reapplied to mobs after expiring (does not work on players), so you better take care of mobs around you.

Ranged Damage Reduction to Calamities(bosses) / Melee increase damage.
