Shenzi's Additions is looking to expand upon the selection of ambient animals and pets in a way that feels native to the base Minecraft experience, while also trying to provide novel functionality for each creature added.
Currently the only new creature is:
Hyenas/Hyena Pups
-Tameable
-Sit/Stay/Wander States
-Defends owner and any nearby pups
-Fast, but doesn't hit very hard
-Breeds with phantom membrane
-Tames with meat (This attempts to use the forge:meats, origins:meat, or diet:proteins tags to find acceptable foods, but if your configuration doesn't have those tags raw porkchops can be used as a backup)
This is currently a very WIP mod with few features and limited compatibility tests. Please submit any issues or suggestions into the built in issue tracker.
The next creature being worked on is the Pigeon. Other suggestions are welcome, but please keep in mind it should look like it belongs in Minecraft and have some sort of SIMPLE unique functionality.
GeckoLib is required to handle some animations and texture swapping.
