This is an updated and patched version of Seamless Loading Screen, bringing compatibility to the latest Minecraft versions while preserving the immersive transition experience originally envisioned.
Originally developed by Minenash, Seamless Loading Screen was a lightweight client-side mod that removed the default loading screen fade-in/out and replaced it with a smoother, more elegant world transition. The result: a cleaner, immersive feel when entering worlds or servers.
This version builds on Riflusso’s fork, which revived and maintained the mod beyond its initial releases. Huge thanks to Riflusso for their foundational updates and fixes that helped bring the mod back to life. Likewise, deep appreciation to Minenash for the original vision and work—none of this would be possible without their efforts.
This fork:
- Updates the mod for Minecraft 1.21.4
- Ensures compatibility with Fabric Loader 0.16.10 (and beyond), Java 21, and common visual optimization mods (e.g., Sodium, Iris) as well as the mods described in the original Modrinth page.
- Fixes crashes and updates mappings for stability
- Retains the original smooth fade system for world transitions
This mod is entirely client-side and should work seamlessly with most modpacks and setups. If you encounter any issues, feel free to open an issue on the GitHub repository: https://github.com/Minenash/Seamless-Loading-Screen
