Welcome to Sanctuary!
Sanctuary is all about protecting your Sanctuary Stone from other Rogue Sanctuary Stones that have fallen from duty. Kind of like a tower defense type gamemode.
Your Sanctuary Stone only has a certain amount of health so you most protect it all costs. Once your Sanctuary Stone dies it will explode into oblivion, destroying everything around it.
When a powerful being dies, where does all its energy go? The answer is... the atmosphere. When too much concentrated energy suddenly comes out of its container, it explodes.
All monsters added in this mod naturally spawn, with better classes spawning less often than some of the others. Ex: Warrior classes have a spawn weight of 20, while Knight Classes only have a spawn weight of 10.
Sanctuary Stone:
Sanctuary Stones are the thing you need to protect at all costs. Protect it all costs. Sanctuary Stones will in fact blow up once they are killed and there is no warning for this at all (may change later).
You can claim your Sanctuary Stone by right-clicking it and a display name will pop up on top its head. Sanctuary stones do have a boss bar to show how much health it has so I suggest staying close to it so you can monitor its health.
Once a Sanctuary Stone is in place it cannot be moved.
When your Sanctuary Stone is at 50%, an announcement will be made in chat to notify you that your Sanctuary Stone is at 50%.
Aether Sanctuary Stone:
A new tier of Sanctuary Stone that is an upgraded form of the Sanctuary Stone. To get an Aether Sanctuary Stone, you first will need to get a Purified Soul.
A Purified Soul is obtained by combing Bits of Purified Souls and a Polished Andesite block in the crafting table. Bits of Purified Soul can be dropped from all Knight Class Rogue Sanctuaries with a chance, that chance goes up the higher the variant it is as well as the amount that is dropped.
Royals will always drop 1 Bit of Purified Soul upon death.
When obtaining the Purified Soul, just right-click it on the Sanctuary Stone to upgrade it, When upgrading it a message will appear in chat and a lightning sound will play.
Classes and Variants:
There are different classes of Rogue Sanctuaries; Warriors, Archers, Knights, Bombers, and Royals.
Each Rogue Sanctuary come in different variants; Stone, Deepslate, Sculk, Nether, End.
Each one get progressively more powerful. Each variant has all classes except Royals. Only End Variants will have the Royal Class but that doesn't mean they only spawn as Royals.
Each class has different amounts of health, armor, speed, and so on and so forth.
You can differentiate the different classes by their names if you have Jade installed or Neat.
There variant type will not be mentioned in their names but are self-explanatory just by looking at the skin.

This will show the power-scale of the variants that will spawn just so you get an idea and understand when I say "the higher the variant"
Stone>>Deepslate>>Sculk>>Nether>>End
More variants will be added as time goes on
Identification:
If you need to identify their classes just by looking, its pretty easy, their armor and weapons give it away.
Warrors: Most warriors of each variant have no armor, they only have a sword. Each sword is different depending on their variants. End Variants will diamond swords, Nether Variants have gold swords
Archers: All archers of different variants have bows in hand, most will also have two pieces of leather armor, while End Variants have chainmail
Knights: All Knights will have a full suit of armor with a shield and sword. Their armor and sword will get stronger depending on their variant. Stone Variants are the only ones without a full suit of armor, they only have a chestplate and boots.
Bombers: All Bombers will spawn with no armor and only with a piece of TNT in hand.
Royals: Only End Variants will spawn as Royals. All Royals will spawn with full netherite armor, as well as the sword. They will also have a shield. Royals are much stronger than all others and make it difficult to kill them.
Powers:
With each class and variants come their special powers. Well only some do.
All Deepslate and Stone Variants are immune to arrows and can be damage by melee except Bombers, all bombers of these variants can be hit by arrows.
End Variants have the special power to teleport at random when being hit. This is only a small chance to happen and do not act like Enderman who can't be shot at. They only teleport when hit.
Bombers have the special power of explosions. All bombers spawn with a special effect called BOOM! once the effect is over they will explode. The effect lasts for 3 minutes as soon as they spawn so kill them as fast as possible before they reach your fortifications.
Bombers also have a small chance of exploding when being hit, the chance is quite small, so unless you have a way to rapidly fire at them to activate this, I would just go for the kill. These explosions are quite small but still do some damage to surroundings.
Each class also comes with benefits, all knights come with an increase of health, bombers are always much faster than their counterparts of the same variant. Archers are also quite quick on their feet sometimes having speed equal to a bomber. Warriors dont come with anything special since they are seen as the one you compare to.
I do not plan on updating this mod to any other versions other than what it was made for
