RedstoneStick's Ironman Mod or RSIMM (or RSIM &M :D ) is my take on making an ironman mod for minecraft.
A crappy Iron Man mod with the main forcus of feel and semi realism.

Quick Tutorial
- Ever tought to yourself why Ironman uses the repulsors more often than guns and rockets while they are clearly superior? (Ammo)
Because its cooler right?... well yes... but also, there is so much space in that tin box you're wrapping around yourself
to fill with munitions that the thing called "ammo" becomes a limitation. While that blue thing on your chest (which literally
is a fusion reactor and probably not placed in the safest place for your health) has a more than enough juice to power the miniature
plane engine that is strapped to your hand to point it towards your enemies
For ammo you have to craft an ammo kit that is special for each armor and right click it to fill it with the necessary items from your inventory
PS: you need to have an ammo kit to assemble your armor, but it doesn't need to be filled
- Wanted to build a ironman lair filled with fancy tech for your ironman armors but it was so easy in the other mods to put on armor that you didn't bother? (Armor Equipping)
Well, worry not because we got you covered. With the brand new suit equipping station and suit unequipping station you are forced to put on your
armor in a place with some infrastructure, so you can get even more motivated to build your most desired mancave around it
- Why bother fiddling with your helmet visor other than to show off to your friends, or close it at all since the hud distracts me? (Helmet)
Glad you asked. A closed helmet will provide you with fire protection (not lava protection) and some additional normal protection
but at the same time it will obstruct your vision and *Drumroll* will also hide your name from other players, you heard me right. You can go full masked hero mode if you want to
While an open mask will obviously make your vision broader so you don't feel claustrophobic and show your name to other players without forcing you to take off your armor
- Why i can't move? (Armor Boot)
Well usually you wouldn't be able to move if you cannot provide enough energy to the armor (the reactor on your chest and armors internal energy work together).
But also your armor takes time to boot up, and you cannot move without enough boot level to run the motors since the armor you are wearing weighs roughly 600kg (or 1.5k pounds)
So unless you're an award winning athlete you can't ( Steve's strength doesn't count)
- White particles? (Freezing / Reactor poisoning)
Don't worry, it isn't the inappropreate white particles. Its still bad, but still safe for work. Instead of closing your eyes you should probably start panicking because either
A) You've frozen due to flying in too high altitudes (Snow like particles all around)
Yes all armors can freeze, even that shiny one that you coated in gold-titanium alloy (albeit at a slower rate).
When frozen your systems will start to fail and eventually the whole suit will shut down. And it will not boot back up until you get rid of the critical amount of freezing
You should probably get ready because that water bucket clutch may be your only option
B) You're experiencing radiation poisoning symptoms (Coughing).
That fusion reactor you placed right next to your heart that is made with a palladium (a radioactive material) is affecting your health in a bad way (told ya :P)
the coughing starts when you are at least 5% there from dying due to radiation positoning, and the syptoms will only get worse
You can craft a suppressant to completely eliminate the coughing and reduce the other bad side effects but it is not a cure.
The only way to get rid of the radiation is to not use the arc reactor alltogether (or you can try to find alternative materials to use as a core
preferably not radioactive)
- What is this train noise? (Overspeed)
You are going too fast you dumdum, that suit you're wearing is only held together by detachable connections and was not meant for speeds that high
If you keep pushing it that far you're gonna break it
PS: each armor has a different speed that it starts to break down
- What happened to my armor? It just turned into junk. (Safe dissasembly)
Ye, you wheren't meant to take off that piece of equipment that requires a wide variety of equipment to put onto you with your bare hands
So you basically trashed it. Still if you intentionally did it in a pinch, i hope that you made a wise decision.
You have to use a armor unequipping station to safely dissasemble the armor on you without breaking it.
PS: you'll recieve most of the key components upon "forced dissasembly" but will lose most of the armor plates and all the ammo (Ammo thing may change in the future)
- Why keybinding act weird? (Duration sensitive keybindings)
The keybindings will perform different actions depending on whether you:
- Short Pressed
- Long Pressed
- Constantly Holding
PS: if you are gonna perform something when you release the key you'll hear an audiotoury confirmation
PS: When not wearing any armor press to check, hold to remove your arc reactor.
