Nature's Bounty!
Berry Bushes, among other food sources, can be found in the wild, making the early game a bit less of a grind.
Natural Building Materials!
Mud, among other natural blocks, can be used to craft building blocks designed specifically to mesh well with those of Vanilla, allowing you to make the most of your environment.
World-Consuming Terracreep!
Be sure to check for parasites before moving into an End island -- Terracreep can rarely be found on the underside of End islands, and will very slowly spread to and consume nearby stone blocks.
Melon Bricks!
The most important, gameplay-changing feature in the entire mod.
Fairy Circles!
Luminous circles of Glowshrooms generate in the Nether -- sometimes with Giant Glowshrooms at their center.
Strange New Ores!
Minestrapp's ores don't all generate in normal underground veins. Glacierite generates atop mounds of impenetrable Glacial Invincium, and will regenerate over time after being harvested by right-clicking it with a Pickaxe.
Multiple Soil Variants!
Minestrapp gives Dirt two additional variants -- Clay Soil & Permafrost. Clay Soil generates in hot/humid climates, whereas Permafrost replaces all Dirt in Snowy biomes. Both behave similar to Dirt, but with subtle functionality differences.
Crops-O-Plenty!
Minestrapp adds several additional crops, including Corn, Tomatoes, Peppers, Lettuce, Cabbage, Celery, etc. Each comes with a multitude of additional food recipes, providing a much more varied range of food sources to choose from.
Ender Architecture!
Minestrapp adds a variety of new End blocks that aim to fill in the lacking/non-existent End building material palette.
Ores Galores!
Minestrapp adds over a dozen ores, including Salt, Copper, Tin, Meurodite, Irradium, Torite, and Titanium, just to name the ones seen in this screenshot!
Life in the End!
Voidberries, found scattered throughout the End, give players Levitation for a few seconds when eaten, providing an alternate method of travel between the floating islands.
Compact Redstone Dust!
Each Stone variant comes with its own Redstone variant -- while these all function identically to normal Redstone, differing variants can be placed next to one another without connecting, allowing for compact Redstone circuitry.
Your Move, Pro Jerard the Finishist!
Minestrapp contains a boatload of custom advancements designed to guide new players through the mod's features. Some are pretty easy, while others can only be completed by the most dedicated of completionists.
Mood Lighting!
Tallow Candles can be ignited with either Fire, or Dragon Breath, providing some spoopy lighting options for your reclusive wizard's tower.
Automation at its Vanilla-est!
Minestrapp's tech and automation components are all designed to fill in Vanilla's lacking tech tree, without seeming ludicrously out of place with the rest of the game.
Ludicrous Quantities of Decor Blocks!
Each of Minestrapp's 10 Stone types comes with their own set of Bricks, Cobblestone, Slabs, Stairs, Chiseled Blocks, Walls, etc. That alone is over 100 new decor blocks, not including all the other decorative blocks that aren't even related to Stone.
Total World Conversion!
Minestrapp's worldgen features leave some biomes relatively unchanged, while completely overhauling others. Snow biomes in particular feel completely different, with their cool blue color palette and varied soil & geological structures.
Eerie End Flora!
The End has been completely revamped in Minestrapp 5 -- glowing Clutchthorn covers the outer islands, and Chorus trees generate a twisting network of Chordsol roots, creating an eerie, pulsating glow throughout the dimension.
Trendy Storage!
Minestrapp's Grass Baskets can hold infinite amounts of items! Finding the specific item you're looking for, however, is an entirely different challenge...
Decorative Baubles!
Certain blocks can be crafted into Baubles -- 1/8th sized cubes used for smaller, less-obvious lighting within your builds.
Better Dungeon Loot!
Minestrapp adds tons of new dungeon loot to nearly every generated chest in the game, ranging from simple chunks of stone to enchanted god-tier weapons and armor.
Lava Sponges!
Having a hard time finding Titanium? Head over to the End and grab some Sponges to suck up all that annoying Lava blocking your way!
Illuminated Caves!
Sunstone Deposits generate randomly throughout the Overworld and End, providing the occasional bright space in the dark recesses of the underground.
Luminescent Glow Moss!
Hanging strands of Glow Moss generate in the End and Nether, growing into long vines over time. It doesn't actually generate that frequently -- this development screenshot just looked really cool.
Gliding in Style!
Minestrapp's Hang Gliders are very difficult to obtain, but incredibly useful within normal Survival gameplay. I don't recommend trying to re-create this screenshot in survival.
Leophobia!
Minestrappolation's revamped Savanna biomes will make you very afraid of Lions. Granted, there are not actually any Lions in the mod. But you'll be worried that there could be nonetheless.
Geological Biome Differences!
Minestrapp adds 4 additional Stone variants, each of which replace all Vanilla Stone in specific biomes depending on their climate. These Stone variants apply to all Ores too, so you won't have to worry about ugly mis-matched ore blocks!
Invisible Light Sources!
Very expensive but very useful Glow Paste can be applied to the side of any solid block to create a completely invisible light source!
