LaserIO Unofficial Extended Life

A fork of LaserIO which aims to:

  • Add new features
  • Support and improve the 1.20.1 version of LaserIO
  • Create a customizable experience

Features:

  • Chemical Cards for use with Mekanism chemicals (if Mekanism is installed)
  • Laser Nodes and Connectors auto-linking
  • Curios integration and keybinds for the Card Holder
  • Additional features to Redstone Cards
  • Removal of standard Overclockers from Energy Cards (default transfer rate: 1,000,000 FE/operation)
  • Show particles button inside Nodes

Quality of Life:

  • Automatic maximum extract value on Overclocker insert
  • Fix various rendering errors when used with Oculus and shaders
  • Better JEI dragging integration for filtering fluids and chemicals
  • Change Laser Node's direction tab using the scroll wheel
  • Give LaserIO 101 upon first time obtaining a Laser Node (if Patchouli is installed)
  • Up to date guide book (LaserIO 101)
  • Optimizations and bugfixes

Customization:

  • Optional Energy Overclocker tier(s) meant to help pack developers better gate energy transportation
  • These tiers come with: configurable names, maximum energy values (tooltips will change to reflect these values), and colors - all controllable from the config!
  • Maximum extraction values for each Card are now configurable via config
  • Configurable minimum ticks/operation for each Card per Overclocker amount
  • Configurable Node's connection and interaction ranges

Note: The above is NOT an exhaustive list of what this fork adds

Migration:

Even if this fork adds a lot of new and cool features, don't worry: migration from LaserIO to LaserIO-UEL is safe!
Existing blocks and items will not disappear, for the most part (only Overclockers contained inside Energy Cards will).
To be safe, before loading into your main save file, remember to backup it!

  • Create-Powerlines devs and embeddedt for the mixin part
  • Blackalf for testing the changes and giving suggestions on how to improve the mod

As Direwolf20, the creator of LaserIO, said: "Can't have DireWire without Wires!"... we think?
