THIS MOD USES GECKOLIB
The villagers have uncrossed their arms, after the pillagers got a tech upgrade. Both factions engaged in an hard war and you, the player, arrived right in the middle of it.
Many things of this mod were inspired from World War 1. I tried to be as accurate as possible, without getting far from the vanilla theme.
OVERVIEW
MOBS
Villagers:
Villager Soldier (armed with a rifle):
Villager Soldier (armed with a sword):
Villager Soldier Operating Cannon (cannon model based on 1897 French 75 mm field gun):
Villager Soldier Operating Biplane (which is wooden 'cause we're on minecraft). Also, the photo didn't come out well, but I took it in a survival world, so I couldn't follow the planes that were flying.
Passive Villager Soldier (same behaviour as villager, only in soldier clothing):
Flamethrower Villager Soldier

A small re-texturing of the iron golem has been done.
Pillagers:
A full re-texturing of the pillager famiy has been done, as shown below:
Pillager
Vindicator
Evoker (Gonna change this texture, it doesn't look very good)
Witch
Pillager Soldier (armed with rifle)
Pillager Soldier Operating Cannon
Pillager Soldier Operating Biplane
Flamethrower Pillager Soldier

VILLAGES
Now, some villager soldiers will spawn in villages along with the iron golem. Usually 6-7 soldiers per village, as of update 1.1. If for some reason no soldier spawns, the villagers are programmed to generate at least another one.
RAIDS
The first (and most important) thing the mod changes is the raid system.
BEFORE THE RAID:
Pillagers may decide to raid a village whenever they want. If you see pillager planes in the sky patrolling the area, occasionally see pillager soldiers moving suspiciously around the village, or hear occasional raid horn sounds even if there is no raid happening, it means they're going to raid the village soon.
DURING THE RAID:
When the raid starts, you're going to hear the usual raid horn, and the raiders will spawn. The usual mobs will spawn, along with pillager soldiers. At the start of each raid wave, some villager soldiers (also with planes and cannons, depending on the type of mobs spawed in the wave) will spawn. The villager soldiers already in the village can perform an help call, which will spawn some other soldiers, but only one every player session (basically if you leave and rejoin, they will be able to perform it again, but the raid may glitch - it is not recommended to do so). If the player has an Help Bell (item will be mentioned later in description), it will generate some villager soldiers.
On Hard Difficulty, the raid will spawn way more planes, which will eventually result in the destruction of the village (unless the player is properly prepared)
AFTER THE RAID:
In the case of a loss from the villagers, nothing will happen: the pillagers will celebrate and, eventually, leave.
If the villagers win, instead, a villager will spawn with a trumpet in his hands and will play TAPS. He'll put his trumpet away afterwards.
Sometimes, some builders from the winning faction will spawn and rebuild the village (still work in progress).
INCURSIONS
Occasionally, pillagers may decide to attack villages (or, sometimes, the player) in smaller groups. Those events are called incursions.
Incursions can be disabled by crafting and signing a Declaration Of Non-Belligerence.
STRUCTURES
Pillager outposts have gained a new military look, along with more security.
ITEMS, BLOCKS, ORES AND WEAPONS
As of update 1.1.0, a set of firearms has been added for player use. Images are going to be provided soon.
The Red Glowstone
This ore can be found similarly to redstone, and has 2 uses:
1) crafting red glowstone stained glass, an consequentially, red glowstone spyglass (NO USE FOR NOW)
2) using red glowstone in a brewing station will brew it into Spontaneous Combustion Potions. Making them into splash potions and then lingering, you can craft Red Glowstone Tipped Arrows, which will make everyone hit by them explode. These arrows are very useful to knock down planes faster.
This option is experimental and has to be optimized, I will fix that in the next update (very soon)
Help Bell
This Item is similar (in role) to the Immortality Totem: it is a very rare drop from pillager planes (this will chenge when a boss will be implemented) and it can summon some villager soldiers. If a raid is happening where the player is, the bell will spawn more soldiers. Use it wisely, as it has only one use.
Move Tool
It is an easily craftable item used to move villager soldiers with cannons or planes. Very useful, if you hope to create your "villager army".
Additional Features
If you (for some reason) wanted to join the pillagers, I got you covered! You can run the command "/team join pillagers" to be able to befriend them.
This will be changed, so that you can do it without cheats.
If you want to redent, you can always run the command "/team join villagers" to enter the villager side of the war.
There are two craftable blocks, the Forge and the Gunning Table, which are profession blocks for 2 new villager professions: the Forger and Gun Expert.
The forger will sell Steel, a new metal introduced by the mod. Steel can be used to craft some of the weapons.
The Gun Expert will sell some rarer (and better) weapons for emeralds and, sometimes, steel.
FUTURE UPDATES
I will add a lot of things in the next updates, such as:
I will optimize Red Glowstone Tipped arrow obtaining;
I will add a boss to the pillagers.
Next Update (1.2) Plan:
The player will be able to recruit Nitwits, giving them a uniform, which will turn them into Unarmed Villager Soldiers. By giving them a weapon, the player will be able to choose if they will use a kinfe, a rifle or a cannon.
In Update 1.3, The player will also be able to build planes and have Villager Soldiers ride them.
If you have any suggestion about the mod, you are welcome to comment on it!
Mod made with MCreator. To all of you wondering, using MCreator doesn't mean that I can introduce zero features at all. You can code with MCreator.
