About

HexVR is a client-side addon to Hexcasting to make it better to use with Vivecraft which is a VR mod for Minecraft.

Features

  1 Handed Setup

• Download the mod and dependencies
• Start SteamVR and Minecraft
• Turn on "Show Advanced Bindings" in VR > Controller settings
• Restart SteamVR and Minecraft
• Go to your SteamVR Controller Bindings 
  • Set a button in the "Modded" tab to "HexVR: Draw Spell" (I like to use left trigger for 1 handing)
  • Remove the binding for the the button you used prior in the "In-Game" tab (Teleport for left trigger)
• Enjoy!

  2 Handed setup

• Download the mod and dependencies
• Start SteamVR and Minecraft
• Turn on "Show Advanced Bindings" in VR > Controller settings
• Restart SteamVR and Minecraft
• Go to your SteamVR Controller Bindings 
  • Overwrite left trigger in the "In-Game" tab to be for interacting and placing blocks instead of teleport
  • Unbind right and left touchpad in the "In-Game tab"
  • Set the left and right touchpad buttons in the "Modded" tab to "HexVR: Draw Spell - - Simple"
  • Enjoy!
