This is an official addon for Cold Sweat that allows players to create datapacks that modify the existing origins (from the Forge mod Origins).
These datapacks allow for changing the default values of attributes when the player spawns with the origin, adding attribute modifiers, or making the origin immune to certain TempModifiers (i.e. Merlings are immune to the chilling effects of being wet).
There are some default settings for the Vanilla origins:
Blazeborn
- Most comfortable in extremely hot environments
- Immune to overheating
- Body temperature doesn't increase when on fire
- Isn't cooled by Cold Sweat's soulspring lamp item
- Isn't soaked by rain or water
- Freezes much faster in cold environments
Merling
- Can survive in slightly colder environments than normal players
- Slight resistance to freezing
- Immune to being wet
These settings can be overwritten by user-defined datapacks if needed.
