
This mod spawns a plant in caves that when broken drops a cave root. When a cave root is eaten it provides the same hunger and saturation as a carrot and has a 75% chance to give the player haste 2 for 1 minute.
Torch Fungi:
The torch fungi also spawn in caves. When the torch fungi is broken it drops torch spores which can then be planted on fertile farmland. Spores emit a light level of 4 but eventually grow into fungi which emit a light level of 7 and can then be harvested for even more spores.
Dried Root:
The dried root also spawns in caves. When the dried root is broken it drops 1-2 sticks.

KJ's Cave Root now uses data packs for mod configuration:
- Biomes of cave root generation are controlled by data/caveroot/tags/worldgen/biome/can_spawn_cave_root.json
- Biomes of dried root generation are controlled by data/caveroot/tags/worldgen/biome/can_spawn_dried_root.json
- Biomes of torch fungi generation are controlled by data/caveroot/tags/worldgen/biome/can_spawn_torch_fungi.json
- Specifics of cave root generation are controlled by data/caveroot/worldgen/configured_feature/cave_root.json and data/caveroot/worldgen/placed_feature/cave_root.json
- Specifics of dried root generation are controlled by data/caveroot/worldgen/configured_feature/dried_root.json and data/caveroot/worldgen/placed_feature/dried_root.json
- Specifics of torch fungi generation are controlled by data/caveroot/worldgen/configured_feature/torch_fungi.json and data/caveroot/worldgen/placed_feature/torch_fungi.json
