Introduction:
ArborFirmaCraft set out to solve two gripes I had with TerraFirmaCraft—that despite the plethora of woods added by the mod, most of the vanilla wood colors were unobtainable, and that of the nineteen tree species added, most are found only in the temperate climates—about five of these nineteen trees cannot be found naturally in the United States, depending on how you count. Of course, these problems provide something of a natural solution to each other.
1.20 Feature List:
- Biome-based forests
- Three forest types, "Swamp", "Normal", and "Alpine"
- Different tree species are restricted to different forest types
- Some Trees bloom in the spring
- Yellow Ipe
- Flame of the Forest
- Red Silk Cotton
- Giant Rosewood
- Tree tapping for syrup and rubber
- Larger Old Growth Trees
- Made of special log variants that drop less wood to preserve some balance
- Tree Species: In ArborFirmaCraft, multiple tree species may share one wood type: for instance, there are four species of pine, Boreal Pine, Stone Pine, Red Pine, and Tamarack, all with unique leaves, saplings, and tree shapes, but that all drop pine logs. See the list below for all wood types and species added.
