What its Age of Travel?
Age of Travel it's a forge mod, based on prehistoric environments that focus on add extinct flora and fauna into minecraft. The flora and fauna can also be found on a new dimension called Pangea, it's a post nether dimension where almost everything from the mod can be found.
It also has a unique cave biome, being it the Amber Cave, where it can be found more commonly amber. Almost every creatures has unique and different features that can be explored in game or searched through the Paleopedia, a guide with information of the mod, and those creatures that don't have a Unique feature, will be updated and polished.

The hunger system on meat-eater dinosaurs it's easy to understand. Every wild carnivorous dinosaur have a hunger system, when the hunger reach 0, it will search for a prey, mainly, preys that can spawn in their environment. All the carnivorous dinosaurs have different hunger stats, it depends on the size, the more hunger it can have, being the Carcharodontosaurus the less-hunter dinosaur.
When tamed, the hunger system will not work again, making your dinosaurs to not hunt.
